A round through Bogor’s tropical gardens
Course Overview
Klub Bogor Raya is an 18-hole, par-72 course in Bogor, where palms, tropical woodland and landscaped greenery create the feel of a large garden. Its surroundings are an important part of the experience.
Reputation & Tournament Background
Opened in 1997, Bogor Raya has established a reputation as a scenic golf destination in the Bogor area. Amateur events and corporate tournaments form part of its golfing life, alongside leisure rounds for Indonesian and international visitors.
Course Design & Tee Distances
The routing follows gentle hills, lakes and valleys. Open fairways give room from the tee, but greenside bunkers and subtle slopes make the approach and putting game more exacting. The finish combines water and changes in terrain to keep the round engaging to the last hole.
Reference scorecard distances. Tee positions and course setup may vary.
Course Highlights
- Rolling terrain, palms and tropical woodland create a garden-like round.
- Open fairways give way to more exacting greenside bunkers and slopes.
- Water and changes in elevation keep the closing stretch engaging.
Caddie Service
A local caddie can help with reading subtle green slopes and planning shots around the lakes and valleys. This course knowledge is especially useful for a first visit.
Caddie fees are included in the golf day-tour rate; caddie tips are separate. Tell us if you need language assistance so we can check availability. A current total caddie headcount has not been confirmed.
Turf & Course Maintenance
Care of the landscaped fairways and putting surfaces contributes to Bogor Raya’s garden-like feel. Drainage and regular turf work are important in Bogor’s wet climate, and conditions can change after heavy rain.
