Course Overview
Mountain View Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 course in Bandung’s hills, designed by Peter Thomson and Ross Perrett. Its elevated setting combines mountain scenery with views over the surrounding city and landscape.
Reputation & Tournament Background
Mountain View is known in Bandung for a strategic Thomson and Perrett layout. Corporate and amateur golf form part of its activity, with the highland setting attracting visitors who want a different style of round from the courses around Jakarta.
Course Design & Tee Distances
The routing includes five par threes, eight par fours and five par fives. Doglegs, slopes and changing elevations create a round where position often matters more than power. The later holes bring additional demands on club selection and approach planning.
Reference scorecard distances. Tee positions and course setup may vary.
Course Highlights
- Five par threes, eight par fours and five par fives provide variety.
- Doglegs require a useful landing position for the next shot.
- Slopes and elevation changes make distance judgement essential.
Caddie Service
A local caddie can help with planning tee-shot positions on doglegs and calculating uphill or downhill approaches. This course knowledge is especially useful for a first visit.
Caddie fees are included in the golf day-tour rate; caddie tips are separate. Tell us if you need language assistance so we can check availability. A current total caddie headcount has not been confirmed.
Turf & Course Maintenance
The combination of slopes, doglegs and putting surfaces makes consistent maintenance important. Wet ground can change the way the shorter-looking holes play, while approach position remains more important than the headline course length.
Facilities & Services
- Clubhouse restaurant and lounge
- Locker rooms and pro shop
- Practice areas
- Rest areas with views over the surrounding landscape
Accommodation, leisure facilities, rentals and other extras are not automatically included in the day-tour rate. Availability and charges are confirmed separately.
