Three nines in a green setting

LotusLakes is a 27-hole club in Karawang’s industrial belt. The original guide describes an oasis of lakes, trees and gently shaped land, with three nine-hole courses providing variety within the same venue. The club’s own introduction confirms the Naoyuki Saito design and its 1993 inauguration.

Lotus Course

The source describes Lotus as the water-focused nine, with lakes and creeks shaping many of the decisions. It highlights the ninth hole’s constrained landing area between water features. Choose a controlled target and check the safe lay-up or carry distances before selecting a club.

Jasmine Course

Jasmine is introduced as a more open-looking nine with long fairways, flowering plants and tropical trees. The visual width does not eliminate the need for placement: the original guide notes subtle contours and side bunkers that still influence the approach angle.

Orchid Course

The source presents Orchid as a demanding nine with tropical greenery, bunkers and lakes. Its seventh hole is highlighted for a fairway set among water features. Plan the shot sequence from the tee and use the current course information rather than relying on a general promise that distance alone will make the hole easier.

Understanding the total length

The original article quotes 10,439 yards across all 27 holes. That is a combined reference for three nines, not the length of one standard 18-hole round. Confirm which two nines you will play and use their current scorecard. A 27-hole facility does not automatically mean that every visitor booking includes all three courses in one day.

Practice, dining and clubhouse

Official club information identifies practice facilities, a pro shop and a bar and restaurant. The original source also photographs the lobby, golf house, clubhouse and caddie or cart areas. Ask directly about the current operation and visitor access for any additional facilities such as spa, swimming, fitness or tennis services described in older material.

Caddies, turf and maintenance

The source mentions one-to-one caddie support, a large caddie team and specific grass varieties. Staffing numbers and turf conditions can change, so confirm the caddie arrangement, cart policy and any current course work for your actual round. Recent weather and maintenance matter more than an old condition claim.

Arriving from Jakarta

Use the Karawang address rather than assuming the club is in central Cikarang. Jakarta–Cikampek corridor traffic and your hotel location determine the drive. Check the assigned course combination, check-in time and visitor requirements with the club before setting out.
