Hotel pickup and Pantai Tebing
Meet your guide in the resort lobby and set off by private vehicle. Follow Lombok’s west coast road with sea views, then stop at Pantai Tebing, the striking cliff beach on the north coast. Take time for your own photos before continuing toward Mount Rinjani National Park.
The quiet north coast and park entrance
The north coast feels quieter and more relaxed than the west. If you would like a short stop for fresh air, ask your guide. The drive from the cliff beach to the park takes around 1 to 1½ hours. At the Sendang Gile waterfall office, your guide arranges the admission and local guide arrangements.
A gentle walk to Sendang Gile
Start the gentle descent with your guide. Wild monkeys sometimes appear along the path, so keep food and loose belongings secure. After roughly 15–20 minutes, reach Sendang Gile Waterfall. The large boulder makes a memorable photo point, and there is time to enjoy the falls and take pictures.
Forest path and river crossings
Continue toward the second waterfall, Tiu Kelep, on a trail of about 25 minutes. There are steps, bridges and a stream crossing. Sandals with grip or water shoes are useful here. Pause by the cool water, rinse your face or dip your feet before walking into the lush forest.
Tiu Kelep Waterfall
The forest opens to a dramatic curtain of water. Enjoy free time and photos around Tiu Kelep; the pool below the falls is approximately 1–1.5 metres deep according to the source tour. When sunlight is right, a double rainbow can appear in the spray. Rocks are slippery and river conditions vary, so follow your guide’s advice around the water. Afterwards, walk back to the entrance.
Lunch with a Rinjani view and return
Enjoy lunch at a restaurant in the Senaru area with views toward Mount Rinjani, then return to your hotel by private vehicle. If you would like a photo stop at Malaka Point, Malimbu or the “Ghost Villa” viewpoint on the way back, tell your guide; timing depends on the day’s route.
