Board your private boat
Set off for the snorkeling sites around the Gili Islands with a boat reserved for your group.

Get ready for snorkeling
Protect exposed areas such as the back of your neck, lower back and calves from the sun. Bring sunscreen and a long-sleeved rash guard. Jellyfish can occasionally occur around the islands; small ones may be difficult to see. Optional wetsuit rental is listed at USD 10 per person; request it when booking.

First stop · Turtle snorkeling
Your guide chooses the turtle point near Gili Trawangan or Gili Meno according to the weather and currents. Enter the water from the boat and follow your guide. Beginners can ask for assistance. Look for turtles resting, feeding or coming to the surface to breathe; sightings depend on the day.

Second stop · Gili Meno underwater statues
Explore the underwater statues, a popular photo spot surrounded by tropical fish. Enjoy the scenery and take your own photos while following the guide’s instructions.

Third stop · Gili Indah coral area
Continue to the Gili Indah snorkeling area to see coral and tropical fish. Batfish, eagle rays and moray eels may be seen, with occasional manta sightings mentioned in the source itinerary. Wildlife encounters are not guaranteed.
