A beach tucked below the cliff
The original guide describes Green Bowl as a small, secluded-feeling beach once known as Cliff Beach. The approach runs beside Batu Pageh temple before descending towards the sand. The writer estimated a descent of around 70 metres and a beach about 30 metres across, emphasising its compact setting rather than a long resort beachfront.
The walk is part of the visit
Plan for the return climb as well as the downhill approach. The source mentions surfing and fishing near the cliffs; these observations are not a guarantee that swimming is suitable. Check tides, sea conditions and local access advice before descending, and keep clear of rough water.
